Arriving by train?
From Culemborg station, it is a 15 to 20-minute walk to the museum.
Arriving by bike?
The museum is located near junction 42. Follow the Havendijk, which continues through the Achterstraat into the Herenstraat. Our museum is located at number 29.
Electric bikes can be charged for free at the charging point on our front square.
Arriving by car?
The museum is located in Culemborg's low-traffic city centre, where access is only permitted with a permit You can park at one of the car parks around the city centre. Click here for parking options. The nearest car park is Het Hof, which is just a few minutes' walk away. Therefore, do not enter the museum's address into your navigation system, but instead use one of the car parks as your destination.
The Elisabeth Weeshuis Museum strives to be as accessible as possible to a wide audience.
For people with physical disabilities, the first and second floors are accessible by lift; the basement and Spinzaal are accessible via a stairlift.
A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available on the ground floor.
Assistance dogs are allowed.

In our museum shop, you will find items linked to the history of Culemborg and the orphanage. There is also a wide selection of books for young and old.
If you are just looking for a gift without visiting the museum: you are very welcome in the museum shop during the museum's opening hours. You can also purchase a Museum Card from us.

The café in the Orphanage will open soon! Come by for a delicious coffee and cake and enjoy the peace and quiet in the Orphanage Garden.
